JKS Storage Cloud For Big Data

JKS is a Premier Cisco Partner
Cisco IT built a storage cloud service called S-Cloud to store, manage, and protect globally distributed, unstructured content. "S-Cloud supports Cisco IT's goal to be the provider of choice for all Cisco infrastructure needs," says Shaw-Jen Chang, vice president of Data Center and Platform Services, Cisco. "Our S-Cloud offering provides a cost-effective and comprehensive solution that addresses employee demand for self-service capabilities, policy-based data governance, and more."

Cisco UCS Integrated Infrastructure for Big Data integrates industry-leading computing, networking, and management capabilities into a unified, fabric-based architecture optimized for big data workloads.
Cisco UCS Integrated Infrastructure for Big Data is a highly efficient, scalable, high-performance solution that can help your organization grow quickly and cost-effectively. Use it to deliver insights faster, and reduce total cost of ownership (TCO). Cisco UCS for Big Data innovations allow you to unlock the intelligence in your data to help you create a sustainable, competitive business advantage.
As enterprise big data workloads increase in size and complexity, the network will play a crucial role in ensuring workloads are completed and insights are timely delivered. Cisco offers an ideal solution to solve network constraints caused by increasing network traffic: Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI).
ACI can apply big data policies to dynamically load balance big data flows across racks in a multi-rack cluster. ACI can detect congestion on the top-of-rack switches and then re-route big data traffic using alternate pathways. The result is often triple-digit percentage improvements in the workload completion times and throughput of big data jobs."

Consider a technology symposium to promote your business

The 1st Annual Technology Symposium was in April at Maneeley's Grand Ballroom in South Windsor. The central focus of the symposium was to enable attendees to learn about the latest technology and security solutions and to get hands-on experience with innovative products and services.
Vendor booths were set up to give the attendees the chance to meet with each vendor one-on-one and to see demonstrations of solutions. Vendors also hosted presentation sessions and covered information about IT Infrastructure, Collaboration, Security, Data Solutions, and Professional IT Services. Each session ended with a Q&A period to allow open discussion about the topics.

The symposium was a joint venture between JKS and other vendors including: Array Networks, Assa Abloy, FAS Associates, Secure Infrastructure and Services, Emerson Network Power, KABA Access and Data Systems, Vijilan Security, Hitachi Cable, Axis Communications, BVoIP, Datto, Eaton, IQ Telecom, The Siemon Company, and Connecticut Technology Council.
JKS is an IT Infrastructure company founded in 2005 by John Fritz that provides tailored Infrastructure, Collaboration, Security, Data Solutions, and Professional Services. Their services include: cloud, data, security, fiber optic and structured cabling, A/V, PA, VoIP, wireless, virtualization, backup, disaster recovery, office security, CCTV, and more.
The event was highly successful and informative for both attendees and vendors alike. One attendee, Bokul Bhuiya, said, "As an executive recruiter, I attend many seminars, conferences, and networking events. I must admit, this annual Technology and Security Symposium hosted by JKS Systems was one of the most productive, informative, well-planned, and successful events I have attended, and hoping to remain a part of any/all future events. The JKS team was extremely hospitable, willing to take the extra step to assist in any way possible. This displayed John Fritz' style and approach to running his business."
Alex LaCroix, of Axis Communications said, "I attended the 1st Annual JKS Technology Symposium and thought the event was beneficial for exhibitors and attendees alike. Not only was the symposium held in a very nice facility, but JKS did an excellent job making sure the event went off without a hitch. I was able to present our products in front of a captive audience that, in turn, attracted attendees to my booth and led to meaningful leads. I look forward to JKS's next event."
Although the ever-changing technology trends can be difficult to keep up with, it is important for businesses to keep abreast of the changes if they want to remain competitive. This symposium gives attendees a way to do just that in a more cost-effective and time-saving way.
"The symposium went very well and presented a unique opportunity to bring vendors and consumers together. This was the perfect forum for consumers to learn about new technology and for vendors to showcase their solutions." said Jack Pragosa, COO of JKS Systems. "We are already planning the 2nd Annual Technology Symposium for May of 2017."
